I Am Entering a 3-Month Devotion to the Water
I don't know where to begin. I wasn't planning to write a medicine note for this week, but the water has been rushing through my field. The whispers became even more audible as I finished packing tonight, and she was very clear that I need to get this done before I leave for the UK tomorrow... so I am listening.
Last Thursday, I sat in front of my altar, deep in prayer. I felt a little like life was taking me out at the knees at that moment, the contraction after the expansion, I suppose. And I just prayed, and prayed, and sang, and cried, and listened.
I could hear a sweet calling from my altar, and she was asking me to look up. As I looked up, I was taken aback by the amount of water I had placed there. Water from different parts of the world and special ceremonies. Waters that have been gifted to me from other medicine women from distant tribes and nations and ceremonies. Waters from the Chalice Well, and Red and the White Springs in Glastonbury, Waters from my ceremonies in Nicaragua with my sisters... and water from the Nile.
I am obviously still integrating Egypt. Just to be clear, I was not on some Goddess seeking adventure through luxury experiences; I was very much moving through real Egypt, experiencing and witnessing harsh realities in the dualities of exquisite history, technologies, and civilizations.
The only time my energetic field or being felt reprieved and held was when I was on or near the waters of the Nile. There is still so much that I cannot express, but the water was literally my savior some days.
Last Thursday, when I was facing my altar, the pull was very strong to grab that water from the Nile. I used a dropper and placed it on my crown chakra. I can't explain how cold this water was - and it didn't make sense, but it dropped right into my being... and something opened up inside me. She told me that I stepped back into some old blocks and patterns, and I need to meet them with this new understanding that exists within me after all these years. I cried some more lol.
Grandmother Water has tasked me with praying and sitting in the second altar for the next three months. To devote my life and connection with her for now, so that I can move what needs to be moved. So that I can learn how to receive with this clearing.

I am not sure what this will look like with my travels or with the two retreats I am running when I return, but I just know that it is humming and guiding me. And the prayers and the devotion are real.
When I arrived in Aswan, we took the boat to the tiny island where we were staying, moving past the Isis Temple and taking a detour because we asked to see the original location ( a place where we returned repeatedly to pray, get in the water, and where I collected water...). All I can tell you is the water brought me to tears. This water....thousands of years of prayer, ceremony, and devotion imprinted on it, thousands upon thousands of people's songs and rituals encoded and memorized by the waters - the water holding ancient memories and rose codes - and has flowed for so long.
What's left of the original Isis Temple - Submerged in the Nile
The more I learn and experience, the less I know.
The more I commit to my path and journey, the younger I feel, for this is so much for me to learn and embody.
And the water has asked to be my teacher again - for she already is, as I feel like I have been in the season of Water since February, when I experienced such a strong soul retrieval in the waters of Mexico.
So I humbly commit to being a renewed student of the waters for the next three months. To pray and listen, be and learn.
Every time I head to Glastonbury, I feel deep water activations within me. Perhaps it is because of the sacred waters that run through that land that I always bring back with me, perhaps it is the connection with the holy family and the rose codes, whatever the reason may be, I am so grateful to the element of water and all that she continues to teach me.

Wherever you are in your life, if there is a place you might feel stuck or that you are not trusting, where can you let go?
How can you allow the teachings of Grandmother Water to support you in this process?
I am walking this one with you.
With great love,
